Being a Steveston raised girl, I’m going to take this time to give a lil’ plug in on what’s good in mah hood.

I’m pretty sure all you Stevestonites can relate to my woes of not having ANYTHING FUN to do around The Village because it pretty much closes down after 6 pm…(except for The Buck…)…anyhoo I digress

Because it’s Friday Night, I decided that it’d be way more fun to study rather than celebrate the end of the school semester. So my crew (aka. My books and laptop) and I, decided to hit up the local Steveston Waves for a little bit of java, to help me get my school on.

I swear I thought I might of stumbled into Caprice because of the amount of people that were packed in the place (MINUS the ridiculously loud house music and tanned Christian Audigier wearing Guidos (please refer to JERSEY SHORE BLOG)). What I didn’t know was that every second Friday of the month starting tonight (December 4th), Waves Steveston will be hosting a night of live entertainment from local musicians, artists, poets…you know, all those artsy fartsy folks. So if your around the area, check it out!
