What was it like to design for the generation next show?
It took a few months to start the line there were no troubles! Everything went smoothly. Time management is always a challenge but it all worked out in the end.

I understand you design being mindful for the environment…
Yup, I use natural and eco friendly fabrics like, hemp, wool, linen, silk, organic cotton and micro model cashmere.

What made you decide to go eco friendly?
I’ve always loved eco friendly fabrics. I gravitated towards organic silk this time because it was so fun to work with and I’ve always implemented eco friendly fabrics wherever I’ve worked.

What made you start up your own line?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart and I always knew that after my second child I would go full force with my own line.

Goals?
I would like to get into more stores here and in Alberta and go east. Eventually in the next couple of years I’ll open up my own boutique. I want to have it in Vancouver or Whiterock.
I like Yaletown and South Granville; both are really nice areas to walk down.
I was also thinking about Kerrisdale, or West Broadway.
Hum on main, tenth and proper, not just pretty.

If you could dress a celebrity, who would it be?
Oh my goodness! Can I have more than one? Halle Berry or Angelina Jolie. Any celeb would be awesome! But I love those two because they are both powerful and inspiring women which represent my line! Plus I really respect Jolie’s humanitarian work. It just represents everything about my line, beauty, class, power and leadership.
