Let’s go down Main Street to Twigg and Hottie. It’s a popular destination for all you ladies who plod up and down Main looking for designer wear. Local designer wear.

Here’s a brief history lesson:
While Main street was developing into a fashion avenue, friends Glencora Twigg and Christine “Hottie” Hotton took over a consignment store on Main while there were in design school in 2003. In 2006 they were joined by Jessica Vaira.
Eventually they went from all consignment clothing and creations to featuring the designs from 50 independent Canadian designers as well as earth-friendly sustainable designers. The talented three each have their own individual line which they sell at the store:
- Twigg&Hottie made by Glencora
- Michael, made by Christine
- Clementine, made by Jessica
- And a collaboration line called We3.
Inspirations you ask? Well the three are inspired simply by how they live: sustainable, socially responsible and believe in recycling and composting as well as their different styles and personalities.

We can expect a Twigg & Hottie store expansion in the future AND they aren’t planning on selling just here in Vancouver. Expect to see We3 in boutiques across Canada, The States and in Europe.
